FMM Eastern Branch was set up on August 1, 1995 in Kuantan, Pahang. This new branch is a result of FMM commitment to be the prime organisation that represents manufacturers' interest in Malaysia.

With the establishment of the Branch, members in East Coast would be serviced effectively and their issues collectively voiced to the appropriate authorities using FMM as a platform. FMM would also be in a better position to provide feedback and inputs on local issues which affecting manufacturing sector and work together with the authorities to tackle these issues and thus, provides favourable environment for manufacturing activities.

Members of the Branch Committee are elected during the branch annual general meeting and the branch chairman to head the committee is later elected among the committee members. Other posts in the Branch Committee are vice chairman and chairmen of 7 sub-committees. These sub-committees are formed to ensure effective operation of the branch and to align the workings of the Branch to that of the FMM Working Committees. These sub-committees are as follows:

- Economics Affairs
- Human Resources Affairs
- Infrastructure and Utilities
- Membership Services
- Logistics
- Small & Medium-size Industries
- Finance

FMM Eastern Branch office is now relocated at B-8014, 2nd Floor, Sri Kuantan Square, Jalan Teluk Sisek, 25000 Kuantan, Pahang Darul Makmur and it is currently operated by five (5) full time staffs.
